What is StoneGuard?
StoneGuard is a protection film that is specifically designed for porous stone surfaces. It is available for both honed finished Stone Guard Installation as well as polished finished stone. It is a 5 mils thick clear polyethylene film that incorporates heat and chemical resistant technology. StoneGuard’s patent pending design will protect stone countertops from oils, acids, alkaline and harsh household chemicals that can leave permanent etch marks on your stone surfaces.

How is StoneGuard® different from other sealers?
Sealers are a form of liquid chemical that requires reapplication every 6 months. In reality, test have proven sealers offer little protective capabilities from acidic chemicals such as wine, lime, or coffee. StoneGuard® on the other hand has a nano-technology coating that protects the stone from scratches, dings, staining, etching, growth of bacteria and burn marks from excessive heat.
Will it get damaged over time?
Stone Guard Installation is considered a sacrificial layer that will see natural wear and tear over time. It is designed to be removable in the event the film is damaged and requires replacement.
UVA and UVB Protection
StoneGuard implements advanced UVA and UVB inhibitors to protect stone surfaces near windows. Rejecting 99% of UV rays will prevent oxidation, degradation and discoloration of your stone countertops near windows.

Our professionals use modern machines and organic glue to attach the chip. Then, press the chipped piece into the hole and hold firmly for the amount of time suggested by the sticky manufacturer.

How Much Does It Cost to have Quartz Countertops Restoration?
If a work nature is not shared and complex, you’ll get a custom quote based on your specific needs. Likewise, our repair and restoration costs vary depending on each project. Charges like “per square foot/per crack/per stain” are not valid. The type of stone, its condition, and the customer’s preferred final result will need a unique approach.
Several parts will be analyzed, such as stone location in a house, water and electricity outlets availability, furniture obstruction, working days and hours, etc. Also, we may consider the travel distance, our availability, work nature, and reasonable value of the project. Each measure should be on an individual basis once stone testing and viewing are complete.
